Founded in 2017, Barriga Consulting LLC provides qualitative research and consultancy services to organizations and market research agencies around the globe.
No stranger to the world of research, I've worked at leading international research agencies, across numerous countries, and on an incredibly diverse range of products and services. I bring to the table over 12 years of experience, using qualitative skills which have been fine-tuned during training at the Association for Qualitative Research in London and elsewhere. As they say, the proof is in the pudding, and I enjoy repeat business from clients, agencies and former colleagues across the globe.
My passion for qualitative immersion and observation can be traced back to my formative teenage years when I developed a love of languages and travel. Different backgrounds, lifestyles and cultures fascinated me, and this manifested itself in daring Interrailing adventures, solo overseas work placements starting at the tender age of 15, and a budding love of languages which led to a First Class Honors languages degree and my first experience as a ‘legal alien’ living in France.
My thirst for exploration of people and places continues today, and currently finds me based in Cincinnati, Ohio with an Australian husband, and two American children who regularly find amusement in pointing out my ‘Englishness’. I suppose we are a multicultural family in our own way!
